Site Update

Hi Folks,

A quick update to announce the relaunch of World of Cake in time for the holiday site traffic.

A few things:

I streamlined the interface. You may notice there were not too many posts in 2007. Well that's because it was a pain to post. I've cleaned up the site to make it more easy. It will lose some of the customization that we had before, but all in, it will make it easier for us to hit the site with updates and such. You'll see that the blog is being hosted at Blogger, but you'll be able to access the blog from www.worldofcake.com or at the www.worldofcake.blogspot.com address. If you see anything that isn't working right or isn't very pleasing to the eye, let me know.

I wil also try to repopulate 2008 with some summaries of what happened. I'll add these after the fact but the content will be there to update.

The archives are there in text, but due to some issues with a previous webhost, the pictures didn't port over. We'll try and find the pictures and put them back, but we'll focus our energy on trying to keep the site up to date going forward.

I'll gradually add new functionality to the site that will hopefully keep you coming back. There are ways (through feeds) that you can get automatic updates from the site. Let me know if you are interested in this and I can help you with it (if you aren't familiar with feeds).

On the old site, there were some other pages with pictures and videos and such. I'll be adding them back over time and will be accessable through the links on the right side of the page.
