Welcome, Bo and Slider!

After a short mourning period (one week), the boys noticed a "Kitten Adoption Saturday" sign at Whole Foods, and so began the begging and pleading for new kitties. Johnny and I didn't have the heart to say no given Miles' outright obsession with cats over the last year. Plus, John Christopher has shown his own interest and desire for a cat. The timing of it all seemed right, so we headed over to Whole Foods on Saturday and ended up with "Cow Cat", who later became "Bo"vine, and "Orange Kitty" who soon became "Slider" (thanks to the recent interest in baseball pitches). They have both lived up to their names with Bo being slow and lazy, much like a cow, and Slider being fast and crazy. The boys can toss them over their shoulders, snuggle them under the covers and chase them around the house at will. We had no idea how much pleasure good cats could be. I'm slowly becoming a cat convert.
