Big Weekend -- New Stuff

The Mi guy has been quite the drummer over the past few weeks and during the week mentioned that he was bummed that he didn't have musical instruments of his own.

He has taken to drumming over strumming and we decided that it was time for him to have a drum of his own.

Dad and Mi went out by themselves, first to Target where they had a drum set, but it was not the one that Mi wanted so we trucked it over to Toys-R-Us and found the one that he had his eye on. It just happens to be identical to the one that JC picked out as his "marble reward" a few months back.

Mi likes to beat the mess out of the drum and he really likes to make the noise.

We also passed a milestone in the construction zone where we now have a complete sidewalk and street in front of the house. No grass yet, it seems that someone has duped our landlady into waiting until November to put the grass down. Not so sure about that one.

Anyway, with the new sidewalk in place, we decided that waiting until the next birthday was a little too long for JC to wait for a bike.

We found this hot silver number at a local store and had some trainers put on and got a really cool helmet. He was very exicted and jets up and down the sidewalk like he's done it all his life. This bike has breaks and he's shown good control. He was very quick to show off his new bike to the neighbors and he's especially excited to show Kurt down the street.
