Blue Angels

Today we went out to see the Blue Angels perform over Lake Washington during lunch. It was a great time. We headed over to Mercer Island about 10:00 am and got a parking space, took a picnic lunch and sat in a small park near the I-90 "Floating Bridge". At about 20 minutes before the Blue Angels arrived, we were allowed to walk out on the bridge to get a better view.

It was a great view as you can tell. The boys were generally cranky and were not sure what to expect. Though when the Blue Angels showed up, they were very excited.

Miles had a bit of a time with the noise level. The first real flyover caused him to be a little skittish and he covered his ears most of the time. Though when asked, he still said the Blue Angels were "great".
