Hello all, been busy with work lately. Got to see the Mariners beat the Yankees last night in perhaps the worst game you'll ever see the Yankees play. Too bad for them.

John Christopher and Miles both have been chatting up a storm. Miles breaks out into a cacophony of grunts, coos and laughs nearly anytime he catches your eye. He's funny because you can talk him out of crying by talking to him. He becomes so excited that he smiles big and talks back with seemingly no end. It's quite fun.

John Christopher continues to play the "dis!?" game, where he points at nearly every object and inquires what the appropriate word for the item is. This includes Mom, Dad, Miles, Penny, Tulip, the Fish (we now have fish), etc... The fun part is that he now, on a seemingly random basis, repeats some of the words. He's also become quite the artist and spends a fair amount of time coloring on paper with magic markers (washable of course). He's also started to enjoy the nice weather outside and will dig in the garden with Mom and kick the soccer ball down the sidewalk with Dad.

The fish are still alive, which makes it a little over a week. We've got 3 zebra danios and we're waiting for the tank to "cycle" and become stable before adding more. John Christopher enjoys watching the fish swim around. If you're out there and you've kept fish before, let me know, I've got some questions!

With that, I'm pleased to announce that there are two new videos of the talkers out there on the video page. Good luck in downloading them and viewing them. I think they work. John Christopher's is a long file (3 min or so) so the download will take you some time especially if you are on dial up. If you have problems let me know and I'll put a smaller one out there (quality will not be as good though).
